New jobs

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

In the past few weeks I’ve accepted a couple of job offers.  First up, I’ll be working as a 3D artist with Lich King Studios on a couple of upcoming game projects.  I’ve also been hired as a Character TD by  Maia Magnus Entertainment to construct or revise several character rigs over the next few weeks.  I’ve already started work with Maia Magnus and have learned a bunch of new tricks in Maya (was the pun intentional?) to help improve my character rigging.  I’m looking forward to working with both of these companies, and with any luck I’ll be able to post samples of my projects on here at some point.  We’ll see!

Jaguar McGuire updates

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Some of you know that I was involved with a short film project this past year called ‘Jaguar McGuire’. I assisted in and supervised construction of the 3D infrastructure as well as managing digital assets. Production had halted for a while for various reasons, but a new animation team has been assembled at SCAD. They’ve been making a lot of progress on the film over the past few weeks and with any luck, the film will be ready to debut in April.

It’s a really ambitious project and I’ll be relieved to see it completed soon. Check it out at
